French Lawyer (Avocat) registered at the Paris Bar since 1998, Jean-Martin CHEVALIER has been an associate lawyer of Pierre COUSIN from the beginning of his career.

Before his admission to the Bar of Paris, he had been working in Bonn (Germany) as parliamentary assistant.

Totally bilingual French/German, he holds an advanced post graduate diploma (DESS) in Industrial Property law (University of Paris II – Panthéon Sorbonne).

As a partner at Cousin & Associés since 2008, his core practice is dedicated to patent and plant patent litigation.

He contributed with Pierre COUSIN on writing the French book (Jurisclasseur) about the application of the Munich Convetion in French law, and teaches at the French CEIPI.
