Senior Vice President of Engineering, Aerogen Ltd
With over 25 years’ experience in the Medical Devices Industry, Brendan Hogan has overseen the successful launch of many products from infusion filters & valves to sophisticated electronic nebulizers. The last 10 years have been spent at Aerogen Ltd, – a world leading company in acute care nebulisation where he currently holds the position Senior Vice President of Engineering, which also includes responsibility for Operations. In his previous employment, Brendan was V.P. of Engineering and Quality at Filtertek BV., where he was instrumental in establishing the technical and operational framework ensuring significant growth in revenue through the development of new medical products and processes. Previous to that he held various positions with Potterton Myson, De Beers Group and Roche Pharmaceutical.
He has published Scientific Papers both nationally and internationally and is a named inventor in 12 issued patents with an additional 12 patent applications pending. He is a board member of Knowledge Transfer Ireland (KTI).
He is a graduate of the University of Limerick and Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and holds Masters Degrees in Business and Engineering. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of both The Institution of Engineering and Science and the Institution of Engineers of Ireland.
